The Story of Our Logo

In 1989, the average new house cost $120,000, gas was worth pocket change at 97 cents a gallon, oversized shoulder pads were very much in style, and Stanley Greenberg founded Tidewater. Trends have changed, and so has Tidewater’s image and logo, but the high standards and values on which Tidewater was founded have not faltered throughout the years. And while we’ve grown into one of the largest family-owned realty companies in the area, our devotion to personal service has only grown stronger.

Our recently updated logo symbolizes the “well-roundedness” of Tidewater Companies, and the freshened design reflects our mantra – PROGRESS. From community management and rentals to maintenance services and real estate sales, we offer the whole package. Although our logo has evolved, it evokes the same sentiments with which the company was started in 1989.
